Searching for Files in Document

Document offers two ways to search for files:

  • Quick Search is available on the Document Central window. You can use basic filters and wildcard characters as part of a Quick Search. A search can return up to 2,000 results at one time.
  • Advanced Search allows you to create complex queries using Boolean-type operators. You can include up to 15 lines of criteria in an Advanced Search. This search can return up to 200 results at one time.

Both search types allow you to search the full text of files if needed. They also allow you to filter search results and to save search queries for future use. When you have completed your search, you can export the search results to a CSV file.
